High School Muse

hannah-stacey.jpgBear with me: my brain has been replaced with Christmas cake, writes Hannah Stacey of Beaconsfield High School.

It's been a while since my last blog, the time since then seems to have been filled with massive happenings and epic un-happenings, usually in the form of snow. However I'll do my best to fill you in.

Half Term has somehow managed to have both just started and just finished! I'm vaguely confused as to where it went but I feel the answer lies in the truckloads of coursework that I thankfully did have a few days break from by being a map-buried tourist Edinburgh, looking at the College of Art's Open Day.

Blog number three, and I don't have an 18th birthday or a first-time-of-writing worry to hide behind. This one is serious! Sort of.
When I started this blog I genuinely thought that no one except the keen-beans from my church, The Rock in Chalfont St Giles, would want to read it, but loads of people are coming up to me saying 'Aren't you Hannah? The one with the blog?' Before you know it I'll be on the front cover of Hello!

Hannah is a final year A level student who is hoping to gain a place at Edinburgh College of Art to study costume design. She is 17 and lives in Beaconsfield. Starting today, Hannah will be writing a fortnightly blog for the Advertiser sharing her experiences as she prepares for her A levels, applies to universities, and waits for her results.

So. I have never written so much as a page of a diary before in my life and now I'm starting a blog on general teenager-isms as a sixth former in Beaconsfield. Wish me luck.
