Vote on future of 305 bus at public meeting tomorrow
People who use the 305 bus will vote on the future of the service at a public meeting in Seer Green tomorrow.
This will be the second public meeting to be held about the 305 following Buckinghamshire County Council's decision to reduce the frequency of the service from January 4.
At the first meeting on January 12, Andy Clarke, group manager for transport services at Buckinghamshire County Council, agreed to re-look at the service, along with leader of Seer Green Parish Council Phil Clarke, with a view to presenting bus users with three options.
These are: 1. Divert the Carousel 336 service between Beaconsfield and Amersham via Seer Green and Chalfont St Giles to provide an hourly service. 2.
2. Make adjustments to the new 305 service timetable to improve convenience and connections for users 3. Redesign the 305 as a shuttle service between Beaconsfield and Chalfont St Peter, where there are potentially very good connections with other services.
The meeting takes place at the Baptist Church, Wood Pond Close, at 4pm.
Polly Manser will attend, and a report will be posted on this site shortly afterwards. For more information on the options in advance of the meeting visit www.seergreenparishcouncil.gov.uk
