POLICE in Beaconsfield are to hold monthly public drop-in meetings in the town so that residents can let them know of their concerns.

The first Have Your Say takes place next Friday, February 12, in the foyer of Sainburys in Maxwell Road, between 5pm and 7pm.
Anyone with concerns over issues such as anti social behaviour or speeding is invited to come along and express them not only to police, but to representatives from South Bucks District Council's community safety team, a police antisocial behaviour PC, and to L&Q Housing, the town's biggest social landlord, staff from which will also be present.
Caroline Tailor, Neighbourhood Sergeant for Beaconsfield, said: "We are encouraging people to come along and tell us what the issues are, because if know about them, we can do something about them."
She said that other professionals may be asked to attend future meetings, if there was public demand for it.
She said: "We want to make it easy for people to talk to the right people. If we find that we need environmental health there, for example, then we will ask them to come."
Subsequent meetings will be advertised on posters around the town and in this newspaper.

We'd like to hear from you.
