Man charged after police find him drunk and abusive

A MAN was arrested in Beaconsfield after police found him drunk and abusive in the street late on New Years Eve, police said today.


The 21 year old man was found by police on the beat in Reynolds Road at 1.25am heavily intoxicated. He was being rude and aggressive to members of the public.
He was ordered to leave the area until at least 9am, but was arrested an hour later when he returned.
He was subsequently charged with breach of a Section 27 order.
