A DRAMA and improvisation competition between five high schools proved a hit with both contestants and audience on Tuesday.

Jointly hosted by The Beaconsfield School and Beaconsfield High School, the hilarious Theatre Sports Challenge had the audience of 100 parents, friends and staff laughing for three hours.
It was won by in the older age group by Beaconsfield High School and in the younger age group by Dr Challoner's Boys.
Also taking part were hosts The Beaconsfield School along with The Misbourne School and The Chalfonts Community College.
Teams were told in advance of five games or scenarios - including Party Endowments in which contestants were to pretend to be at a party.
As in the TV show Give Us a Clue, at the very last moment they were given more information - and that's where their improvisation skills came in.
A highlight of the evening was Dr Challoner's portaying of a yoga party.
Rachel Greener, leader for performing arts at The Beaconsfield School, said: "One or two of the boys got into particularly compromising positions and it was very very funny."
All teams performed well but Dr Challoner's outshone the rest, she said. "They were very strong, very well rehearsed, their content was entertaining but they had also had drama.
"There was some quite adult humour, they were making political references, and they were more mature than you would expect for year 11. They moved the drama on and didn't just play for laughs."
The event was jointly organised by Rachel Greener and Deborah Farago of Beaconsfield High School.
They hope to repeat Theatre Sports Challenge next year with more schools. Judges were Nigel Dudding, head of The Beaconsfield School, Owain Johns, head of Beaconsfield High School, and pantomime drama professional Simon Sladden.
