Reporter's progress one week into 28 day diet

Advertiser reporter Polly Manser is one week into a 28 day diet she found on the internet and on which, the advertising tells her, she'll lose a stone.

SO FAR so good. I've lost four pounds, so I'm a quarter of the way to my goal, and I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself. In fact, I feel great.
As I said last week, I've put on two stone in ten years, because - and this is my excuse - I have kids and they like eating a high carb diet and I'm the cook in the family.
So, having reached 11 stone 2lbs last month, and a size 16, I decided to take action and paid £395 to join a diet called Go Lower.
I've decided to reveal the name of the diet now that it's working in case readers want to give it a try. But I stress I'm not getting anything free - so I'm able to tell it like it is.
They've sent me a big box of vacuum packed food and, provided I eat only what they send me, with the addition of some fruit, yoghurt and green leaved veg, I'll have lost a stone in 28 days, I'm told. I'll then be sent food for another month so that I learn how to maintain my new weight.
So what am I eating? For breakfast, a very small portion of seeds and nuts, two spoons of full fat yoghurt, and some raspberries or strawberries. For lunch, just soup. For dinner, a small amount of meat in a sauce, which I eat with a prescribed amount of green veg. I'm allowed two nut bars during the course of the day, which they've also sent me. No carbs, no alcohol, no caffeine.
It is nice? God, it's delicious! When you're not eating much, you enjoy every mouthful! The dinners are saltier than I would like though.
Am I hungry? Well, no, except on the days when I exercise. However the instructions do say that I can eat more if I'm hungry, so long as it's protein. The two times I've been running this week I've felt very weak and light headed afterwards, so on the second occasion I rang the helpline, and was told to eat two boiled eggs, which I did, and then felt fine.
Have I cheated? Come on. On day three I had a some apple crumble and on day five I could not resist a small piece of baguette and butter. Bread has never tasted so good! But my clothes are looser and I already look better. Plus I've found some size 14 clothes that I'd like for Christmas. So I'll be seeing this through.

We'd like to hear from you.
