Man attacked in Old Town by man in tuxedo

Posted by Polly Manser on Oct 14, 09 11:59 AM in Beaconsfield News

A MAN was attacked in Beaconsfield Old Town in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The 24 year old was knocked to the ground at about 1am on Aylesbury End by two men who demanded his phone and wallet. They were interrupted by a passer-by..
Both offenders are white and around 20. One had short dark hair and was wearing a dark tuxedo and bow tie. The other was fair and wore a red t-shirt, possibly with a waistcoat over the top, and a hat described as a trilby or deerstalker.
Det Con Anna Davison said: "It was only thanks to the intervention of a passer-by that this was not more serious. The clothing worn by these men is so unusual that someone must know who they are. I urge anyone with any information to come forward."
Telephone 0845 8 505 505 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Fed up with it all said:

FAO our useless Police Farce. Try checking the CCTV in the New and Old Town's that us ratepayers contributed £000's towards - no wait, I forgot, you never EVER have that switched on do you?!! Suggest that you ask to view CCTV from Revolutions, as invariably, thats where these two SCUM have come from...or do we have to do your job for you these days? Don't even bother to answer that one....
