Invitation to celebrate town's twin with a French style dinner

THIRTEEN years of Beaconsfield being twinned with Langres in France will be celebrated with a French themed dinner.


Beaconsfield Twinning Association has organised the dinner - to which all are welcome - to take place in the Fitzwilliams Centre next Friday (Oct 16th) in the Old Town.
Guest Speaker, the Hon Lucia Whitehead, who gained the rank of Company Sergeant in the service of the Auxiliary Territorial Service, will entertain diners with tales of her adventures in Paris during WW2, where she was mentioned in dispatches.
