GIRLS at Beaconsfield High School were relieved after facing the nerve wracking experience of picking up their GCSE results.
Pupils at the school in Wattleton Road celebrated after the school achieved one of its best sets of results in recent years.

Performing particulary well were Emily Atkinson, Charlotte Bowyer and Michell Tang, all of whom achieved 10 A*s.
Acting head teacher Owain Johns said: "It is another fantstic set of results and I would like to congratulate the girls and staff who have all worked incredibly hard over the last two years to achieve such stunning results."
The school saw the number of its pupils achieving A* or A grades increase to 73 per cent, with 26 per cent of girls receiving only A* or A grades.
Head of learning Ben Cottman said: "This is an incredible result for the year group. It has been extremely satisfying to see them make excellent progress as a result of strong support amd mentoring together with the students' hard work."
