Beaconsfield mayor gives sermon

BEACONSFIELD'S new mayor held the first ever civic service at a Holtspur church.
The event happened on Sunday July 12 at St Thomas's church, and was attended by Dominic Grieve MP and several town councillors.
The service followed traditional lines and also featured readings from Janet Simmons, the deputy mayor councillor.
The main sermon was read by Rev Stephen Painting, before refreshments after the event.
