Beaconsfield Woolworths to close on January 5

Posted by Julie Voyce on Dec 23, 08 10:21 AM in Beaconsfield News

WOOLWORTHS in Beaconsfield will close it's doors for the last time on Monday, January 5.
Administrators at Woolworths announced on Monday (22/12) the closing dates for all of the 807 stores across the county. All stores will close by January 5.

Some stores may be reopened by other retailers who have expressed and interest in buying the leases, but it is not clear what the future is for the Beaconsfield branch.
The chain was forced to call in administrators amid mounting debts and losses.
Deloitte's Neville Kahn said it was unclear how much of its debt would be paid, but added it was "clear that the creditors and suppliers will not get paid in full".

We'd like to hear from you.

In this article "it's" is not short for "it is" so there shouldn't be an apostrophe.

Why not make it a New Year resolution to proof read articles more carefully before publishing them (it's not a first offence).

Thanks
