Traffic controller needed for Beaconsfield schools

Posted by Greg Burns on Nov 28, 08 10:18 AM in Beaconsfield News

A Lolly pop person is "desperately" needed to help pupils from The Beaconsfield School, Beaconsfield High School and Butlers Court School cross the road in the town.
The job involves helping pupils cross at the junction Wattleton Road and Station Road.

This is used by hundreds of pupils every day from The Beaconsfield School, Beaconsfield High School and Butlers Court School.
An appeal is being made at the request of The Beaconsfield School after Buckinghamshire County Council failed to find anybody for the post through advertising.
The school fears for the safety of pupils after one was almost hit on November 14.
Pay is £7.25 per hour and the post requires half an hour in the morning and half an hour in the afternoon, term time only. It is suitable for job share.
For more information, or to apply, telephone Georgina Longley at BCC on 01494 586639.
