Summer fun for South Bucks kids

Posted by Emma Lindsey on Jul 23, 08 11:32 AM in Clubs/societies

Young people across South Bucks have the opportunity to spend this summer doing something a little bit different. Youth Centres in Beaconsfield, The Curzon Centre; Iver, Evreham Centre; and Gerrards Cross and will be open for activities such as street art, football, and street dance. Trips are planned such as: Go Karting, London, Thorpe Park, Brighton and even Paris.

Buckinghamshire County Council Community and Youth Engagement Service offer a wide range of activities for young people aged 12 to 19 throughout the year but find that school holidays always bring a more exciting range of activities to get involved with.

Sarah Wood, Senior Practitioner for the South Bucks Youth Team said: "it is so important that local young people know that there are events and activities available for them to take part in, particularly in the school holidays. There are lots of activities to choose from so there should be something that appeals to everyone's interests."

For more information or to sign up to any of the activities contact Sarah Wood on 01494 771889 or sawood@buckscc.gov.uk
